Answers:

To my understanding, yes, repetitive stress injuries can contribute to headaches. Sometimes it's a combo of bad habits like from sitting at a desk job or in front of a computer or TV for hours at a time that starts stretching and straining and weakening our muscles the wrong way. I find it's important to keep the body BALANCED by doing gentle stretches that reverse the position we repeat too often. (Like I sit at a desk too much so I find doing superman fly stretch and a few other stretches helps reverse some of that!) Simply walking is very balancing as well. A quick walk around the block is super simple and can make a world of difference!!

I find that getting plenty of WATER (warm is more soothing and relaxing to the body than cold is and I've heard it said and experienced that it's the water that helps more than the pain meds people sometimes try with it) and especially gently STRETCHING for a couple of minutes every time I hit the loo (paying attention to tense areas and moving around to gently relax them but even just taking a moment to gently reach for the stars above my head) and yes eating a well balanced diet or even an Herbalife meal replacement shake can help give the body what it's asking for as well. Our hormones can do funky things when we're in puberty and that can be a contributing factor but keeping a very healthy nutritional profile can definitely assist in giving the body everything it needs to do it's thing as it's growing and changing.

Experiment and you will learn what works in your situation. Give each thing a chance over several days consistently though. Sometimes that's what it takes. If you find it doesn't go away or it gets worse, maybe see your doctor or chiropractor!

All the best to you. Glad to hear you care about your health enough to find solutions. Hope you take action and find yourself feeling great soon.

Love is a verb. An action word.

Tight neck muscles give you a migraine. The neck muscles go to the top of your head where they connect to muscles going around your brain. When the neck muscles get tight they pull on the brain muscles and when they go into pain you have your migraine. To get rid of the migraine you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about one minute, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds. Because the migraines are so intense the muscles are really tight so you may have to repeat this a few times to get the best relief possible. For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
