Tonsillectomy at 21?!

Tonsillectomy at 21?

I believe I'm getting the traditional cold knife (steel) dissection. I heard there is not as much pain post-op with this with the electrocautery as but more than coblation. From anyone else who has had this procedure using this method, tell me your experience. How much did it cost?

Also, I have small tonsils and my doctor is pretty experienced. I'm hoping this will help?

I'm starting to worry...

All I can say (Given that my mom is an OR nurse and told me about these) is that the older you are, the harder it is to go through. An experienced doctor is a plus!
