Do people really bleed through their mouth when they are punched or stabbed in the stomach?
I see this happen all the time in movies but I wonder if that's the case in real life.

yes it does happen.
injuries to the stomach that cause internal bleeding make you're body go into survival mode-your body will vomit the blood out trying to correct the damage.
these types of injuries are severely life threatening and in alot of cases-if medical treatment is not sought right away-they can be fatal.
