Infant Ear Piercing?!

Question:

Infant Ear Piercing?

I had my baby's ears pierced almost three months ago at the pediatricians office. When I took the earrings used (surgical steel) to pierce her ears off, I noticed that the holes where not done well. I put on a new pair, but just can't seem to get over the fact that they are just not even. I know it can't be done perfectly, but at least look somewhat even. The left ear is higher than the right, and the right is farther back than the left. I took her earrings off, my question is, if the hole will close? I do want to re-pierce them again later on. If the holes do close, how long will it take? If so, is there anything that I might do to help the process?
Thanks

Answers:

remember that she still is a baby and has to grow into her ears so there is a chance that they will even out as she gets older. the peircing will close eventually but it does take a while so if you want to wait you can. I don't know anything that will help make them close faster just don't put the earring back in.
