Burning when I pee,and feeling like i have to pee every couple minutes?!

Question: Burning when I pee,and feeling like i have to pee every couple minutes?
Last night when I went to go pee I felt this burning-stinging sensation while i was peeing and afterwards...Then I felt like I had to pee every couple minutes...but when I'd go back to the toilet nothing was actually coming out. I was surprised that I could actually get some sleep last night with that terrible burning feeling...but I did. When I woke up this morning It was gone and i felt back to normal...and it was fine the whole day...but here I am once again tonight with this horrendous burning feeling...It's not nearly as bad as it was last night but it still sucks. I assume I have some kind of an infection.

Does anybody have any ideas as to what my problem is?

It's not an STD because I'm not sexually active.

Answers:

urinary tract infection. Either face the doc for some pills or cope for 2 days and drink loads of water a 2l bottle twice a day if possible to flush it out.
Try and avoid using knickers that arn.t cotton. Tampons and try and have a wee after sex if you have these often as these small thing can help.

personal experience

Sounds like Cystitis as II did also have it a couple of times.
Drinking cranberry juice normally helps to clear the infection. You can get cranberry juice concentrate over the counter at any pharmacy (they have a wide chose of medicines for cystitis that does not require prescription).
Best not to leave it for too long as if it gets worse you might have to take antibiotics so try and get to the pharmacy ASAP.
These symptoms will normally disappear within a week.

Yes, your story is telling that you have an urinary tract infection. No, it is not an std, you don't need to have a sexual intercourse to get UTI.

Contact your doctor, some specialized antibiotics will be prescribed, and everything will be normal again.

You could also have a small kidney stone. The pain from them can come and go like that. Either way a doctor will need to give you medicine. They rarely just go away unless it is tiny and you can pass it.

could be a water or urine infection. see a doctor.
