WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU THINK THAT YOUR FOOT DOCTOR IS A QUACK?
My foot doctor did surgery to take metal splinters out of my to he had me out of work for more than 2 weeks and put 16 stitches in one toe. I think I went to the butcher instead of a doctor. If he does take the stitches out where can i go to have it done?

Get another doctor if you don't like the one you have. Just so you know I've had foot surgery more than once. Foot injuries seem to take longer to heal and can be very painful. Are you following directions and keeping your foot elevated? Are you keeping the area clean? If you had metal splinters in your toe then they did some damage going in and your doctor had to dig around in there to find them. All of which can cause further trauma to your poor toe. Give it time to heal. I found that 4 weeks to be pain free was more the norm.
