the same day for an illness? Can you get surgery within a day or two? Can you get routine exams such as mamograms, colonoscopy, etc...within a week or two?
Please don't answer this if you are an American wanting to show how great socialized medicine would be. I know it's hard to be honest for some liberals, but try it just this once.

There are long waits for everything. Staff and doctor shortages are chronic. Taxes are high and anything but the basics are paid for by you.
