I woke up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep.?!
Question: I woke up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep.?
Tonight, i woke up at about 4am. Blew my nose, went pee, got some delicious cold water to quench my dry thirsty throat. I do this every night just about. But tonight, i couldn't go back to sleep. Do you know that feeling of your heartbeat in your ear? Multiply that by about 100. Thats what i kept experiencing every time i got close to falling asleep. As in, i would be 1-2 seconds away from actually being asleep and then that damned THING would happen. And i felt it all throughout my body too. I have had these experiences before. But it was always once or twice in one night and i could get over it. it sometimes happened when i was already asleep. But its not like a normal heartbeat that i hear. I also hear a screaming loud high pitch ringing of my ears. about 50 times louder than what i usually have. And the heartbeat thing isn't a consistent beating. its random and freaking fast too. I tried just ignoring it and sleeping through it but, it just got louder and faster. This is the only thing in my life that has ever kept me awake. I have slept through bright lights mixed with people screaming random things at the top of their lungs while beating on metal doors and walls. But i can't sleep through this. Please help.
AND I LOVE TO SLEEP. I'm still tired. I went to bed at midnight. Nothing new in my life.

Drink some warm milk. It really is known to help with sleep problems. If you have a radio in your room tune it to where there is no station and play some quiet "white noise" and it may help you sleep.
