What caused this? Did I drink too much water?!
Question: What caused this? Did I drink too much water?
This morning I measured myself and my waist was 24.5 inches and my thighs were 18.5. I was extremely thirsty throughout the day and had about..... 40 g of fibre?
I kind of overdid it with the Fiberone. I have about 1 1/2 - 2 cups of it for breakfast and dinner. I also drank LOADS of water because I was so thirsty.
Tonight, I my waist is 26 and my thighs are 20 inches. What happened? Is it the water?

Answers:
The excess fiber and water combo could be contributing to you retaining water. Retention of water can lead to slight weight gain (1-4 pounds) and body swelling (increased body inches). Fiber is normally supposed to help regulate your urinary/ digestive system. So urination may become extra frequent tomorrow. Check the SODIUM/ SALT content of that cereal and of the foods you have been eating. Sodium/ Salt can lead to major retention of water. Try to cut back on your salt intake and your body should return to normal soon.
