Lower back pain, any idea what it could be?!

Question: Lower back pain, any idea what it could be?
Yesterday I was lifting weights, everything was fine. I woke up next day went to the store everything was fine. Then as I was walking up the stairs I felt a slight pain in my lower back. I went ahead and try to stretch, but the pain only got worse from there. Its not severe pain, I can deal with it but Its though to straighten my posture, I walk all hunched. Sitting down does not hurt just feels a bit tight. My lower back also appears to be swollen. I applied some icy hot, which did not help. Laying down on a flat surface makes me want to arch my back which in hand causes pain. Sitting up from a laying down position is also painful.

Answers:

Take one day full rest lying on convenient position. If the pain and swelling are not subsided better to consult doctor. I had similar problem and had 50% relief in a days rest.
