What's wrong with my coccyx(tail bone)?!

Question: What's wrong with my coccyx(tail bone)?
Two weeks ago I slipped on a stair case and my legs came from under me and I landed straight on my tailbone/butt. Then bounces a step or so. Well it still hurts..If I try to sit on it at certain areas..I have to roll onto a chair or my bed. Jumping hurts. Running hurts. Flexing my legs back hurts. Using any of the muscles in that area hurts. Bending over hurts.
Is it bruised? sprained? fractured?

It could be any of those, or even broken. Once I was sledding and that happened to me and it hurt for months, even when I coughed or sneezed. When I asked the doctor she said that it was probably fractured or broken, because of the coughing and sneezing pain, but there was nothing to do. They can't put you in a but cast, so I had to wait it out, and a few months later, I felt fine. You might as well wait for it to feel better because the doctors won't help you. It's like a broken finger, you pay for a doctor's visit, and they send you home telling you to spend more money on a splint. It's pointless, unless you really feel that you need to go in. =D

I did this when I was about 12 yrs old, if I had know better I would of told my parents and got it checked out but I didn't. I sat at my desk with one foot under my butt so it didn't hurt so much and it turns out it set off a birth defect in my back. I would go get it checked out at least you can get a proper answer to your question and pain killers if you need.
