Tongue burning sensation after eating salt?!
Question: Tongue burning sensation after eating salt?
Two days ago, I felt a need for salt in my body. I usually don't eat pretzels but that day, I probably ate around 5~7 pouches of salted goldfish pretzels. I kept licking the salt off of the pretzels which made that area of my tongue bleed after 5 pouches of pretzels.
As I said, it's been two days already and it still has that tiny bump. It doesn't necessarily hurt but it does give off a tingling irritation. I can also feel the very tiny, white bump which I'm guessing would be one of my taste buds.
What can I do to make the effects go away faster?

Answers:
I wish I knew.. Happened to me before just had to suffer! It eventually went away... Just be weary of the salt!
