I doubt gripe water will have any effect on this. Walking is one good way to get rid of gas. Have you considered that you may need a different or more of an IBS med? Could you be constipated? If your stools have been really hard you should consider this. With IBS you don't want to get carried away with laxitives. Call your doctors office and ask on the phone what would be OK to try. Some people with IBS find too much fiber causes loose stools so may not be a good fix.
