I've tried everything to wake up on time in the mornings, but everything has always failed!. The only thing i haven't tried is that wake up light!. I saw it advertised well over a year ago and it's still pretty much the same price is was when it was first released!. I could take a chance and buy one, but it's likely i'll just be woken up by it and turn it off and fall back to sleep!. Or simply get used to the light and whatever hormones it produces and stay asleep!.
Your idea of a normal lamp and a timer is far more sensible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The light is usually used for those who suffer from "SAD"!. it helps them waken up to a gradually increasing light, instead of waking up in darkness in winter when its not light till later on!.
my friend had one and it helped her immensly!. you can also use it as a reading light and set it to gradually dim down which helps you go to sleep better as its a gradual instead of just switching off the light!.
good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
