Pneumonia, feel so terrible. :(?!

Question: Pneumonia, feel so terrible!. :(!?
Every time I try to eat or drink, it is so so painful on my chest!. Even if I try to water down orange juice or V8 it hurts too bad!.

I feel a lot worse then I did yesterday, when I went to the doctor!. My symptoms are chest pain, difficulty swallowing, difficulty breathing, and a dry cough!. My shoulders and neck are starting to hurt too!. I think I have pleurisy, can someone explain this to me!? Will the pneumonia medicine help me!?

(The doctor didn't take an x-ray, because I have a history of pneumonia anyway!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
ok, the symptoms of pleurisy are:
Inspiratory chest pain
Cough
Chills
Shortness of breath
Weight loss
Poor appetite
Pain may limit chest expansion on affected side!.
Rapid shallow breaths
Inability to take a deep breath
Itching in sites on the back (near the site of the lungs, but no visible rashes)
Dizziness
Tiredness

the doctor really should have offered you a chest x ray, and prescribed you some stronger pain killers if you are really suffering with the pain, like codeine!. try co-codamol from over the counter if regular paracetamol isnt touching the pain!. these are also available in dispersible form if its painful to swallow whole things!.

hope this helps, and hope you feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Rest at an angle that allows you to cough without much effort!. That will help you avoid tiring yourself out just getting up to cough!.

If the symptoms are noticeably worse than previous bouts I would call the doctor again and say so!.

Don't take any medication the doctor is not aware of!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Doctor Should've taken the X-ray, Doctor isn't very responsible!. Don't go to the Doctor's office, but go to the Hospital!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Meds should help!.

I felt bad when I had it but it really wasn't that bad, I actually think the flu feels worst even though I couldv'e died!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
