I was wondering to you have to get a recommendation from a regular physician clinic to get a colonoscopy or can you just go to the hospital and get one!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is completely dependent on your insurance coverage!. Most won't cover a routine colonoscopy unless you are 50 or over!. Otherwise, they won't cover them unless there is something wrong!. You would then need to make an appointment to get one done, but it's really not necessary unless there is something going on or you have a family history of colon cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
