Why is my right side hurting so badly?!

Hi, I am going to be 13 next month!. My right side has been hurting really bad and I am supposed to get my period in 2-3 weeks!. I am not puking, don't have a fever!. Let me compare the pain to something a cramp but it is bad like having a menstrual cramp and or getting pinched!. When I put my hand on my side the pain reduces!. I have pain since around 7 o'clock!. So whats wrong!? Also i drink one soda once a day and #2 was today!.!.
