Question: Should i get a cast on my arm!?
my wrist swollen and bruised and there is a little bump on it ( a 50 pound guitar case fell on it) , i think it might be a bone!. its not really deformed, so i don't think i need x-rays!. i was wondering if it is possible to go to the hospital and just get a cast!.!.!.!.!? please tell me if it is possible to just go get a cast, and what i would need to do to get one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd go get an X-ray, i recently broke my wrist and it was very swollen and it had a bump sticking out of it as well, and that was because that was the part of my bone that had chipped off!. i fell from a cheerleading stunt, i'd go get an X-ray at least!. The hospital will put a cast on it if need!. any other questions please ask me because i have already been through it about one month ago, and i just got the cast off about 2 weeks ago!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it's very unlikely its broken from your description, just swelling from soft tissues or possibly a bone bruise!. Ice ice ice!.
A clinical exam usually is sufficient to tell!. If unclear, an xray should be taken!. If it's not broken, you don't need a cast!. You won't get a cast at ER just because you want one,!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
