Migraines and visual disturbances?!

Question: Migraines and visual disturbances!?
I've been suffering from chronic migraines for years, but recently when I get one my vision gets blurry and sometimes I lose it completely for a few seconds!. Its like I'm standing in a room with a dimmer when someone slowly turns in down and the room's black for a few seconds, then it comes back on slowly!. My migraines have also become much more frequent and severe!. In the past two months I've been averaging four migraines a week!. I've already been on Imitrex and Toprol for prevention and currently on Tylenol #3 and Fioricet to manage pain (which don't really help)!. What else can I do/take to help!? Are the vision problems normal with migraines!? And is it normal for frequency, severity and symptoms to change!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had migraines with visual disturbances since I was a small child!. It is normal, crappy but normal!. Mine come on like someone flashed a camera in my face!. I found that when I was on the east coast my migraines were more painful, lasted for a few days, but there was no visual problems!. So it was 3 days of one the couch, cold cloth on my head and just wait for it to pass, while where I'm at now it's more something that lasts a few hours and I'm good to go!. It has a lot to do with humidity in my case, and altitude, heat those types of things!. Also what you eat can play a big part, even a few days later!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
