Question: Can you request from a hospital a second opinion on a MRI or CT Scan!?
Can you request from a hospital a second opinion on a MRI or CT Scan!? Especially when it differs a lot from one you had done previously before that one from somewhere else that shows stuff like degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, osteoartritis, and other stuff and the current one shows none of that! Those things do not just go away! Can you ask a hospital to have a different radiologist look at the films!? Especially when your doctor does not and will not bother with it and you may have to obtain a new doctor and it could be months before you get in (like it was with this one)!. I am tired of MRI's and CT Scans!. I do not want them to do another one, I just want them to take another look!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can request it,but in all sincerity i doubt they would redo it,they are very expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
