Question: Tingle in legs going numb while sitting!?
A friend of mine when she sits down in a chair says the top of her thigh tingles as if starting to fall asleep and she says when she lays down also her legs start to tingle and feel numb!.What could cause this!? She says when she sits in a chair her legs "go numb"Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like she has some impingement on the nerve roots that go to her legs from the spine--possibly a slipped or partial slipped disc, disc space narrowing, or something along that line!. However, it could be any number of other things as well!. She should get checked out; possibly needs a CT or a MRIWww@Answer-Health@Com
