How long does it take for your lip to heal?!
Question: How long does it take for your lip to heal!?
I was playing soccer with my friends and I got hit in the mouth and it like ripped my lip open and it's really swollen and it hurts a lot!. I have to play French Horn for an audience!.!.like a recital tomorrow!. I tried playing and it hurts and I can barely play because my lip is messed up!. I can't just call and cancel because a lot of people are coming to see me, I wouldn't be able to call till one, and the performance starts at 5:00!. What can I do to help it heal faster!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would try every little thing I could think of!.!.!.getting a good nights sleep!.!.!.going to lengthes to not irritate it!.!.!.take vitamins!.!.!.anything (dont use a lot of mouthwash, alcohol is an irritant)!.
Then I'd take a mild pain killer if I had one, if not oh well!.!.!.and I'd go and play my a s s off in spite of what ir feels like!.
My mom was a pro!.!.!.she taught me one very important thing!.!.!."THE SHOW MUST GO ON"!.
And it must!.
You can heal AFTERWARDS!.
Hon!.!.!.I know its harsh, but !.!.!.it will only hurt at first!.!.!.
Then,sheer determination ("the show must go on" "the show must go on") will get you through that part-->and the pain will stop, you'll be numb!.
And you'll get it done!.
And you'll feel grand for having such spirit!.

BUT!.!.!.look,if its bad enough though(and youre the one wholl know, which way to go, tommorrow) then its just bad and it cant be helped!.!.and you call it off!.
Dont just go and outright hurt yourself ok!.

Otherwise, pain or emotions you ignore those and the show goes on!.!.and you like you after for being strong,ok!?)

Unfortunatly, It isnt going to heal THAT fast no matter what you do!. You can put neosporin on it to speed the healing prosses but it still takes time!. Either do not go to the recital or go and expect to experience some pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There is nothing you can really do to make you lip heal faster, let it heal on its own and keep it clean!.

cooling it and reheating it just like an ankle!. it wont heal it but it may keep the swelling down!. Good luck on your recitalWww@Answer-Health@Com
Put ice on it and keep doing it,even before the performance it should numb your lip enough so you don't feel to much pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
