Soma and Skelaxin together?!

Question: Soma and Skelaxin together!?
Can soma and skelaxin be taken together!? Why or why not and what are possible side effects!?

My husband was just prescribed both, and told to take the skelaxin during the day as it does not cause drowsiness, and the soma at bedtime!. I'm just asking because what if one is still in his system when he takes the other!? I assume the doc knows what he is doing and it shouldn't be a problem, but I'm still unsure!.!.!.!. I actually think it's pretty common for a Doctor to prescribe both!. Soma has a very sedating affect which makes working difficult (or performing normal daily duties)!. On the other hand Skelaxin relaxes the muscles and relieves the pain with out the sedating affects!.

I would say if you're concerned about taking a Soma after taking Skelaxin during the day, contact the Doctor's office just to make sure there aren't any side-affects to be expected!.

Wishing you and your husband the best!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

"During concomitant use of these drugs, patients should be monitored for potentially excessive or prolonged CNS and respiratory depression!. Ambulatory patients should be counseled to avoid hazardous activities requiring complete mental alertness and motor coordination until they know how these agents affect them, and to notify their physician if they experience excessive or prolonged CNS effects that interfere with their normal activities!." quoted from Drugs!.comWww@Answer-Health@Com
