Cartilage!? Is that the top bit of your ear!? If so, it doesn't hurt a bit!.!.!. I'm not just saying that!.!. I had it done when I was like 14 and I was worried cuz I thought it would hurt alot because cartilage is quite hard, but it hurt LESS than getting my earlobes pierced!!! Weird right!.!. It felt/sounded like a click and then it was done!. I'd recommend it over earlobe piercing, pain-wise!. good luck to her!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
