Swollen finger after kitty bite...!

Question: Swollen finger after kitty bite!.!.!.
I took my baby (not really--she's about ten now) to the vet today, and for some reason my cat was being incredibly difficult!. I attribute this to a new vet who treated her a little roughly than she's used to!.
It got to the point where I had to hold her down so he could give her her shots!. She bit my finger really hard on the joint!. I don't blame her for it because she was scared out of her mind, but my thumb has gotten very swollen and I can hardly move it without it hurting!. The puncture wounds were small, but pretty deep and bloody!.

Anyway, my point is that she's bitten me before, but I've never had this happen!. Am I just being a baby about this or should I be concerned that this has never happened until now!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Cat's mouths have both strep and staph - with deep puncture wounds those can get deep inside, and cause a horrible infection!. You need to see the dr - will probably open the wound, clean it good, irrigate it, pack it so it can continue to drain, and put a splint on your hand!. You will also need to take antibiotics for 10 days!. If it doesn't look a lot better in a couple of days, you will need to go to the hospital for IV antibiotics!. This is very serious and you should have it looked at asap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your cat knows that the new vet doesen't truely like cats!.
Her dislike for him, resulted in you being bitin'!.
Cat bites can be lethal for humans!.
You say that she has bit you before, then you say you've never seen this happen before!.
Be concerned!.
Your cat is a bitter!.

I have an answer for you but my answer just comes from my personal thought and idea!. i think that after your kitten bit your thumb!. You need to buy small plasters and wrap one plaster around your thumb!. It helps to soak up blood from your finger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
