I always find camomille tea helps or warm milk!.
Also I know it sounds like a really childish thing to do say but if you just lie still and close your eyes then sleep will come easier than if your getting worked up about not sleeping!.
There are little tricks you can try!.
Lie on your back and starting at your toes tense and then release each muscle in turn working you up your body!.
Also you could try light meditation!. Again just lie really still with your eyes closed and try to think about nothing which is difficult so you might be best to concentrate on your breathing and each time your mind wonders bring it back to your breathing!.
