This response may be late, but here it goes!.!.!.

If you are taking Adult, Child & Infant CPR with AED then!.!.!.

You will be trained in this order or similar to this: ( I am trying to just go with the basic, when you are trained it will be in more depth)

1!. How to check the scene, etc
2!. How to check an unconscious victim
3!. How to determine what care to give
4!. How to give Abdominal Thrust on a conscious adult or child victim
5!. Good Samaritan Law (very important)
6!. How to give Rescue Breathing (on child and infant only)
7!. How to give Adult, Child & Infant CPR
8!. AED Essentials (use, protocol, etc!.)
There's more, but this is just a brief desciption of what to expect when you go to your class!.

If you are taking the course in your school and you are in High School then it will be ALL those age group!.

If it is a training other than the above, then it is mostly Adults!.

I hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com

hey hun-

it depends where you take it at!. If you take it at a community college its going to be people in their late teens early 20's but i know places like the firehouse will offer it!. I took it at a community college and its a 4-5 hour class its real easy- you take a test at the end and if you pay attention during the class you will breeze by it!. You learn about CPR obviously- (for adults and children) and also the heimlich maneuver (if someone is choking) you'll learn how to use AED's (automated external defibrillators) good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll learn when you should give CPR and the correct techniques for each age group (babies, children, adults)!. You'll probably get a mouth protector and take turns practising on this specially made mannequin!. It might be a mix of both teenagers and adults because a lot of people have to do them as a requirement for their jobs and others have to do it as part of study requirements!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mainly adults!. Cardio Pulmonary Respiration is reviving people in emergency situations!. Smack them on the chest, press down and release, breathe into their mouth for them!. Probably on a dummy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you wont know what kind of people are in there till you get there, all you will probly learn is basic cpr skillsWww@Answer-Health@Com
