drink more water and longer walks!.not just to and fro my table!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Massage will help!. It will help relax the muscles around the spinal cord which is causing the pain and spasms!. It also is much cheaper than going to a chiropractor!. One reason your feet probably went numb the other day while riding is due to some nerve impingement due to tight muscles in the back!. Try massage!Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to the chiropractor,i have been going for 3 months for shoulder and neck pain and i have seen results!. a week ago i hurt my lower back cutting wood and after 1 adjustment the tightness was gone!. try the chiropractor for a month its worth the money or go see an MD!. and become addicted to pain killers and big medical bills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a massage therapist so I definitely recommend massage for any muscle aches or pains!. You can sometimes find clinics where students work on you for much less than a certified massage therapist and they are usually very good!. But I would recommend going to get some lab tests done at least b/c sometimes an internal infection can feel like muscle pain!. Especially since you mentioned your kidneys here, a kidney infection is extremely painful and feel somewhat like you have described!. If it is as unbearable as it sounds from your question it could be something other than a sore muscle!. You can buy urine test strips to find out some answers!. (they are available in some drugstores or you can go to http://www!.anytestkits!.com/urine-tests!.h!.!.!. You will have to do a little research but you will save money by not going through a doctor!. Your health is not really the best place to be cutting corners but sometimes you just have to make due!. Good luck, I hope you start feeling better asap :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best & only thing I can suggest is to return to the chiroprator!. If you don't like the program they'd like to set you up with, possibly try a different chiropractor for a 2nd!. opinion; however, although they want you to go 3x's a week to begin, your back should feel better after 2-3 weeks!. At that time, you could slow your appointments down to about once a month!.
Good luck! Back pain is a REAL pain! (I know, for I suffer with it to - sounds like the same area as you do!. Since I do have insurance, I tried the "regular dr!." route, in which I was referred to a neuro-surgeon, who said I could try lumbar injections for pain, which may or may not benefit / work, or undergo surgery; but, he didn't think that was the wisest choice considering my age!. The only other alternative: walking more has proven to sometimes help, he told me!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand it's not in your budget, but you really might want to reconsider the dr!. thing!.

I do have back trouble & have since highschool!. When it flares up I alternate these 2 things 1 hour each!. First a moist heating pad then for the next hour an ice pack!.

If you don't have a lot of time use the ice!.When I've had to get up and go when I was hurting!.!.!.!.I've even made a small zip bag of ice, covered with a cloth and put it underneath my clothing!. (desperate means often call for desperate measures)

I hope you find a solution!.!.!.!.this is just to help with the hurt until you can see a doc!. Good luck

Get from the library, or buy from a bookstore, a copy of
Robin McKenzie's 7 Steps to a Pain-Free Life!.
I've had a LOT of PT in my life and most made me WORSE--a LOT worse!. This method works!.
Now I really think it might NOT be possible to make this work without the supervision of a properly trained (McKenzie method) PT, but IF you can do the exercises correctly and per the book you likely will be much better soon!. You MUST, MUST, MUST read it CAREFULLY because as you would not have a PT watching over you, there is a possibility you could hurt yourself or exacerbate your condition, BUT if you really follow it precisely, you likely will get better!.
The problem with searching for a PT is that you need a doctor's order to see one (arcane system we use in US)!. You MAY be able to get to see a doc and such though if you go this route as well:
"Health Centers provide health and dental care to people of all ages, whether or not they have health insurance or the money to pay for health care!.
Find the Health Center closest to you

Hill-Burton Free & Reduced Cost Care at hospitals, nursing homes and other facilities are required to provide a specific amount of free or below cost health care to people unable to pay!. Eligibility is based on the size of your family and your income!. You apply for Hill-Burton care at the facility where you were or will be treated!.
More about Hill-Burton and find facilities in your State"

Possibly a walk-in clinic doc might take mercy on you and write a prescription for a PT!. You want a McKenzie method one though or you're probably wasting your time!. Sorry for all the other method practitioners, but I've lost count of the number of PTs I have had so this is based on decades of extensive BAD results with other PTs!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
