Degenerated disc?!

Question: Degenerated disc!?
I have two degenerating discs (last two) !. I have had major pain for the last 2 1/2 years!. I have tried physical therapy, exercises, I get some relief from the Chiropractor!. I am to the point where I can't take advil because of nose bleeds, and tylenol doesn't have much effect on me!. I do have an RX for Vicodin, but I only take that when I can't get out of bed!. I'm 53 years old- any suggestions!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Talk to as many people as you can that have had surgery to "fuse" the discs (!?Laminectomy!?) before you submit !. In my experience (of asking and avoiding surrendering to surgery) is that for people that have had surgery less than half are "fixed' and most are disappointed in the surgery (have "traded one type of pain for another')!. So here are my best non-surgical type suggestions : quit smoking if you smoke (discs are slow to repair and even slower with diminished oxygen due to smoking); use an inversion table to hang and decompress disc areas!. Use chiropractors that use the deep tissue massage (digging elbow into muscle knots) to reduce muscle contraction (which puts more stress on discs)!. Use muscle relaxers (bacloven types)!. If you have a spouse or roomate get them to learn the chiropractic "elbowing technique" and impose on them often!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

DDD is degenerative disc disease and part of the normal aging process!. As we age the nice cushioned discs between our vertebra start to dehydrate!. Some people go through the process with no pain while others have pain, the reason, no one knows!. As long as the discs are complete: you have not damage them, like disc bulge, then really nothing anyone can do except wait for the discs to completely dehydrate!. Best of LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have degenerative disc disease in my lower back L1 and down!.!.!. I had a partial laminectomy, this is where they go in and remove part of your disc to ease the discomfort of a ruptured disc!. I had 80% of my disc taken out, it was "ulcerated and in bad shape" according to my surgeon!. Have you tried Mobic!? It's an NSAID and it's once a day!.!.!. I hope you can find a cure!.!.!. btw my sugery helped but I hurt it again at work and i've been in pain for 2 years!.!.!. since!.!.!. good luck again!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
