Question: How and why do people hurt their backs moving or picking up things!?!?!?
If I pick something up & my back starts to hurt, I just put it down again!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because some people, me included, have to lift heavy stuff for a living, and when your lifting stuff all day either your technique gets sloppy and you start taking risks, or your back and muscles just get worn outWww@Answer-Health@Com

People hurt themselves because they're lifting with their back and not their legs!. In other words rather than bending down at the knees completely and keeping your back straight and erect, people will bend over from the standing position, which is the wrong way to lift anything because at that point you're putting strain on your back and not using your legs!. At the same time someone may think, I can lift this myself rather than asking for help which can screw up your back as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

people hurt their backs when:
1!. they tried to lift too heavy things (that they are not strong enough to lift)
2!. Lift it improperly (lack of balance)

we should calculate our own strength, and the balance the weight of the object as close as possible to the center of our body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

back bone is the column structure of a human being!. back pain occurs because we use bending moment on our back bone to pick a thing!.
e!.g!. try to bend a small metal, u can see the bending area is damaging!.

what exactly are u picking up your back may bot be used to the strain there is a certain way to puck up heavy objects you need to keep your back straight and bend your knees you should feel alot more comfortable picking things upWww@Answer-Health@Com

Most likely because they are bending at the waist instead of bending at the knees and using their thigh muscles!.!.!.instead of their lower back muscles!.!.!.happens all the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If they don't do it properly ie bend knees etc they will hurt themselves!. Some jobs are more riskier eg House movers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You got backbone or joint problems, drink milk, or eat foods rich in calcium!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because they bear too much weight for the lumbar section of the spine to take!Www@Answer-Health@Com
