i might have to have keyhole surgery to remove a blood clot on my left side just under my lungs!. this is a complication i got after i ruptured my spleen in a snowboarding acident!. i want ot no what does keyhole surgery involve and how long is the recovery time!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thoracoscopic surgeries are performed through small incisions 2-3 cm's long!. A telescopic rod with a lens on the end will be guided to the area of the clot and the surgeons can view this through the lens and can remove it!. There's less blood loss, a smaller incision time and a much faster healing rate!. Usually about 4-7 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
