How to acclimate to heat?!
Question: How to acclimate to heat!?
Is there a good way to acclimate to heat!? I'm in New England so it's chilly to mild most of the time, but come summer I'm useless!. Over the past couple of years I've developed an intolerance to temperatures above 77F!. I just get tired and nauseated if I'm out in it!. Being an avid hiker, I don't want to waste my summers indoors with the air conditioner like last year! I'm always drinking water but it doesn't seem to help much other than make me waterlogged!. :) Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, being in Iraq, I've found the best way to acclimate to heat is, drink at least one quart of water per hour, wearing long sleaves and pants, intaking salt (helps the body to store water better) and potassium (ie bananas to help avoid cramps)!. The try to be out between the hours of 10 and 3 (the hottest part of the day) taking breaks in the shade as needed!. It will take about 2 weeks to fully acclimatize, this way, but the heat won't be as much of a problem any longer!. SPC O, US ArmyWww@Answer-Health@Com
