I called a pharmacist about this, he says it's ok as long as it's been in a dry sealed container!. The only thing is it could have lost some of it's potency over time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
expiration dates on prescription medications are almost always exactly one year!. although it might still be alright, it is better to not take them as the oxycodone could have already started to degrade!. If kept dry, the chemical decomposition process can be massively slowed!. Just as with food, it is not magically "bad" when the date rolls around!. It is a ballpark estimate required by the FDA!. it is different with medications however, because there is no surefire way to tell about the pill's chemical integrity!. I have taken oxycodone i was prescribed 3 years prior to the time i ingested it and it was fine!. Opiates do not degrade into dangerous chemicals, but will over time become less potent!. the most that will happen is nothing!. use your judgement!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
There is always a risk in using medication once it is past its expiration date!. More than the risk of it being dangerous is a risk of it not working properly!. I would call the doctor that perscribed it and see what they say!. If that fails, call a pharmacy and get their opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes!. That medicine is now way over expired!. If you use it you are risking serious health consequences!. Believe me, oxy alone is nothing to mess with but if you take the expired pills, you are opening yourself up to possible cardiac and organ damage risks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, it expired almost 2 years ago!. you shouldnt take it!. especially something as powerful as oxycodone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
dont know if its dangerouse but ive taken them past expiration they wont work as well but still work usally they only put a year on the rx bottle they may not truly expire for much longer mine said one year the pharmacy said 4Www@Answer-Health@Com
eh!.!. technically you're not supposed to take them, but i take old medicines all the time!. It's just a pain killer so the worst I think that could happen would be slightly weaker, but I'm no doctor or pharmacist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
