i broke my radial head in the fall and had to work the next day!. I made sure that my assistants knew about my problem but with specific instructions not to tell patients!. Do as I say not as I do type of thing!. It will heal, just take longer if you keep moving it!. Mine took 4 months to fully heal but I had no choice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Actually, you are more likely to damage the surrounding soft tissue than the bone itself!. Bleeding into muscle tissue, nerve damage or tearing a blood vessel are possible complications!. But at two weeks you should have enough of a callus around the bone that this should not occur!. Nevertheless, don't push it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes!. If the bone is broken through you can shift it out of place!. If it's not you can break it more!. Try immobilizers such as an Ace bandage!. If that's not enough, take come cardboard and duct-tape it over the elbow to keep it straight!. Ugly and annoying, but better than rehab or having to rebreak it to heal it right!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Absolutely!. The morew you move he broken bone, the more it will rub against the other bones, and in effect, chip part of the bone off!Www@Answer-Health@Com
