Is it possible to still develop scar tissue after a bad ankle injury you had a f!
Question: Is it possible to still develop scar tissue after a bad ankle injury you had a few years ago!?
I ask because a few years ago!.!.I had a nasty injury where I slipped and I landed on my ankle!. The foot went completely inward with a very loud crack!. The ankle was black and blue for many weeks, and this happened in basic!.!.!.so you can imagine that I had to carry 50 lbs of equipment on the ankle!.
Anyway, one week before I came home, I fell in a pothole and reinjured it again!.
It never healed properly, both of my ankles are very wobbly and I can't stand on one foot or tiptoe nor can I stand for more than an hour!.
This happened 4 years ago and I'm still hurting like crazy!. I'm currently waiting for an MRI and the ankle is immobilized!. Does scar tissue develop in the injury!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ouch!. Sounds like you did a good job!.
It sounds like you may have completely torn one or more of your ligaments!. That causes the symptoms you are describing!. If thats the case you will need an arthroscopy to repair them and make them stable again!.
Im not sure about the scar tissue though, but I hope your pain goes away soon!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
