Both are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or NSAIDs!. They do not contain steriods!.

Both are NSAID (non steroidal anti-inflammatory), but both do help with pain and inflammation!. Steroids are only by prescription and have some nasty side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No they are both antiflammatory pain medication!. The difference between the two ibuprofen and aleve (naproxen) is that typically you take ibuprofen every 4-6 hours and naproxen is taken once every 12 hours!. But always read the directions carefully!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
