Answers:
Well it all really depends on how much time and effort your willing to put into training and what you need to know first aid for!. The Red Cross offers many training programs like CPR and basic first aid!. Both classes will certify you and you will learn and good amount in just a few hours!. If you wanted to take it a step further and become a first responder of EMT your best beat would be to contact your local fire dept!. or first aid squad (depending on where you live)!.

A first responder class is about 40 hours and will teach you the basics of how to handle most emergencies, where as the EMT class is much more in depth and you'd be able to do alot more!. Any route you go I would recommend but its up to you how much your willing to put into it!. Honestly if your not serious about doing it its not worth your troubles!. Hope that helps and best of luck to youWww@Answer-Health@Com
