There is just some info. My 8 year old has ADHD
IT usually runs in the family. They have a hard time sitting still and concentrating. Easily distracted. Can read a page but not understand what they read. Trouble sleeping, Etc.
When you go to the doc the have you and the child's teacher or closest people around him fill out a questionaire and then they determine it from there. I wish I could talk to ya in person because I know way to much to type.

i know a child who is very similar. the parents set up a very responsible routine for him, starting with getting himself ready in the morning and having responsibilities of his own. They made sure he was doing his homework, he went to counseling and is not on any meds. He went from being behind in school to being one of the top kids in his class, because his parents worked hard with him and helped him to find outlets for his energy instead of just putting him on meds. He is a very smart child and felt bored in school because the teacher couldn't spend enough time with each student, learning about their needs.
