What's wrong with my legs?!

Question: I'm an athletic 14 year old female, 5'8" 3/4, 124 lbs, and I started having pains in my calf muscles about 3 weeks ago. I am in track, and it does hurt more when I try to run. The pain is is on the outer lower side of my leg near the ankle of my calf and sometimes on the back of my leg. It used to just be in my left leg but now I'm having pains in my right as well. I can sometimes feel muscle spasms when I try and take the weight off of it. What could be my deal? Should I have it looked had by an orthopedic doctor? Is there anything I can do that will make it feel better? If you need more info ask, and I'll add details to my question.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. You need:

Water, and Calcium (IE Milk). I started having these when playing rugby. It got so bad that even walking up/down the stairs would send my legs in pain.

Go to your doctor, but home remedy: plenty of water, protiens, and cheese, yogurt, milk and icecream for calcium

It doesn't sounds like a bone problem, so I wouldn't suggest an orthopedic doctor. You may have strained your calf or sprained a ligament. Your best bet would be to ice it for 15 minutes a couple times a day and take a pain killer (such as ibuprofen) and see a doctor about it if it doesn't go away in a couple of days.

ya try a orthopedic but it could but a potassium defenciency try eating some bananas
