Ok, so i smoked cigs?!


Question: for like 2 years and quit on january 8th, but the past couple of days i have had the worst urges to have a cig...i don't know why all of a sudden i really want one. Today i broke down and had a cig, because i thought that maybe the cravings would then just go away, but now i want one soooo bad... what should i do to keep the cravings down?

DON'T have another one... imagine doing all the hard work and resisting all the temptation again... 'coz if u ahve it again, u'll be say, "one more can't hurt me"... but it will ruin u... i know you dont' need this lecture and are probably tired of it... so screw this
try to distract yourself.... go to some club, or spend the night out wid some gal... dont' smoke...

Try picking other small snacks to eat or chew lick sugarfree gum, carrot sticks, lollipops etc. When you have craving try popping those in your mouth to keep you busy. Also if you get cravings try doing homework, calling a friend, or watching tv to take you mind off it. Throw out all your cigarettes to make you don't start again!

Drink water. This not only gives you something to do, it changes the taste in your mouth. Water is best because it likely will not make you think of smoking the way coffee, beer, or soda might. If plain water is too boring for you, add a twist of lemon or try a flavored brand.
Brush your teeth. This also changes the taste in your mouth. If you can
