Im in pain from skateboarding but i didnt even fall lol....?!


Question: i just started skateboarding a week ago i did fall hard once and have bruises from that but also around my ribs hurts and a few other spots,my mom says its prob just torn muscles and stuff but it kinda hurts lol,,so how can i prevent this from happening,it wouldnt bother me if it was from a fall or somthing but considering i didnt even fall i shouldnt feel like i just got beat up lol,,will this eventually stop happening as i skateboard more??? how can i make the pain stop,,cuz right now i cant even laugh or it hurts pretty bad =/

It's from working muscles you haven't used in awhile. The more you use those muscles by skateboarding, the better off you'll be. Eventually you'll be in good shape.

Yep, could be torn muscles but why take the chance? Got to get x-rays. Anything could be wrong, all my boys and oldest daughter skate, they get hurt a lot! You do tend to use more stomach muscles if your trying to do tricks. Please get checked out if it hurts to laugh or breathe deeply.

That one bad fall could very well have torn those muscles. If it doesn't get better in a few days ask to see a doctor.

it does sound like you either bruised your rib or tore a muscle or maybe even strained it. trust me its way better than breaking you rib, i broke 4 of mine at once playing football lol
