I've had a bruise for years..?!
Question: I have a very faint, blueish bruise on my shoulder. It has been there for years, does not hurt, doesn't even really look like a bruise. Could I have damaged nerves or vessels underneath?

It could be just a really old blood clot or burst blood vessel under your skin. I wouldn't trouble myself over it, but at your next doctor's appointment, ask him or her to take a quick look at it. :]
I'd say it's some bursted blood vessels no reason to worry as long as it doesn't hurt.
Maybe it's a birth mark.

I don't think it is anything damaged if it doesn't feel any different than the rest of your shoulder and doesn't hurt.
You could ask a doctor to take a look at it next time you happen to be there.
