Question: im wondering if you can help me with a problem. the last couple of days ive been having really bad cramps but worse than usual and my period is so heavy and its never been this heavy before and its keeping me awake because im in so much pain i have an appointment today with the doctor but if this is normal and im just gunna look like an idiot i wanna know thanks heaps i hope u can help me

It's very possible that you have ovarian cysts. The symptoms that you describe are classic with cysts. It may also be endrometriosis (sp?), however I believe that you have cramps inbetween periods as well.
Your doctor may be able to feel for cysts during an exam or she/he may send you for an ultrasound.
Either way, you are not an idiot. You are doing exactly what you should do any time you have a concern about your body...see a doctor.
