Back Pain... Plz help :(?!


Question: My worst pain... I think its because im sleeping bad or because of weigthlifting. The point is that sometimes i feel a sour pain in the back of my pain and when I "crack my back" (AS WHEN YOU CRACK YOUR KNUCKLES) it releases tension.. but I know thats bad to do. I am young 18 yrs, 6ft0 and I dont wanna end with a hernia.

I want real solutions from people who had defeated this pain in the past.

Please, please go to the doctor. DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH YOU BACK PAIN. If you choose to ignore it , it will only lead to misery and more pain.
You might try putting a cold compress on your back and laying on a wooden floor ( what my husband's doctor recommended for him) for 30 minutes at a time. USE ONLY COLD - NOT HEAT.
Good luck, you are so young to be plagued with such a serious issue.

Take Advil (2 in morn, 2 at nite) and rest your back for a week or so. DO NOT LIFT WEIGHTS YET. You can ice your back each day 2 times a day for 15 min. You can use Icy hot. After the week is over, go back to lifting weights but lessen the amount of weight on the bar, do more repititions instead. Try going to a gym on a free day pass to have them show you exactly how the lifts are supposed to be done. ALWAYS LIFT WITH A BUDDY, IN CASE SOMETHING HAPPENS!!!
