I had a blood clot in my calf for about three weeks before it was diagnosed by a vascular surgeon. They misdiagnosed me in the ER within the first two days so I was taking 4 baby aspirin a day (about 320 mg) in those three weeks and the vascular surgeon said it was small enough by then to not take heparin but continue with the dosage of baby aspirin for two months.
I hope you are under a doctors care!! These clots can be very dangerous to your health!!. Clogging can lead to death.
It depends on the individual, and the drugs you are being given.
It can take as little as 2-3 days to several months.
Depends on how aggressive your doctor is with your treatment plan. If you are positive of a DVT, I would lay low and decrease my moving. A DVT can move and move to your heart and you can die. Sorry.
