I fell off my horse today and i landed pretty badly?!
Question: i landed on just below my knees and they have both swelled up pretty badly now. its been 5 hours since i fell and the swelling hasnt gone down!

well, have you put ice on them? I do think a visit to the hospital would be a good idea.

Not much to worry about. You aren't going to die or ride on a wheel chair for the rest of your life. Many horse riders have experienced that. Just do this:
Put ice on the painful areas, sleep, and go to the doctor.
Get back on the horse!!!
Focused relaxation, it is possible to drain the swelling away on command. At lest I can do it after smacking my finger with a hammer at work.
