My calf hurts a lot... is it pulled, torn, or what?!

Question: Alright. We had tennis practice, and towards the end of practice, we did a few laps, and during then BOTH my calfs felt in huge pain. It was like a stunning pain, as if someone took a stick and jabbed me right at it. Now, when I sit and stand up, it's very hard and painful. During French today, I was stretching my leg cause the class was madd boring, and it helt fine. Then I put my legs normally without moving, and damn it was so stiff and painful.

So my question is: you think its just pain, from all the running? Or is it torn or pulled? If it is, tell me how I can make it feel better.

it is probably pulled. after running when the muscle is tired if you push it too hard you can pull it. working out does that to you. usually tears happen in contact sports involving pressure from other people to seriously injure the muscle. the injures obtained from sports involving running are usually strains.
dont worry too much. it is probably just pulled
wait 2 weeks and if it isn't better call a doctor.

pulled...seeing in how major of a muscle the calf is, i think you would definately know if it was torn

it is prob pulled all you need to do is put your foot up against a pole or some thing and push ford and take a strait ice bath sounds crazy but it works
