Either you did something last night that you were too intoxicated to remember, or your abdominal muscles are hard at work trying to get rid of all the alcohol in your system by making you puke. Chances are that's why your ribs hurt.

Well, you were probably just retching too hard there. I know it's not really something you can control but that's probably all it is, so try not to worry. That area can be pretty sensitive sometimes and the muscles there are probably just tense and overworked from vomiting.
If they still hurt now you could try a heating pad or something similar to soothe it.
