OUCH! I twisted my ankle!!What should I do??!

Question: I do not want to go to the doctor so DO NOT mention it...
But anyway I was out in the backyard.... because it is really nice right now even in the winter.....
And I was going up the stairs of my backdoor and I don't know how it happened.....
I was running a bit outside with my dog.......
All I know is when I stand it hurts....
What should I do??

RICE
Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

keep up on all of these things. Keep an eye on it and look out for funky blue, purple, or green colors.

Take some ibuprophen and put an ice pack on it. Keep it elevated. And, if it isn't better in a day or so (sorry) go to the doctor.

take some anti-inflammatory (like ibuprofen or alive)
wrap it in an ace bandage
prop it up on some pillows
put an ice pack on it

Jump on a trampoline, Dah.

rset, ice, elevation to reduce swelling and support it with a bandage....if it swells massively and bruises badly u need to go up the hopital same if any unusual hard lumps appear...

Elevate the foot about 12 inches above your heart.
Bandage it.
Put ice on it.
If it still hurts to stand and/or walk, go to your local drug store, buy crutches and use them.
And if it still hurts after that, please go to the doctor.(sorry)
It might be a hairline fracture.(small crack in the bone)
Or if it gets purple or blue.Thats another reason to go to the doctor. If it doesnt get better and you dont go to the doctor, then your foot might be in a really bad condition and then the doctor will have to remove it or preform surgery on it.
