Growing pains?!


Question: Im 16 and i get bad growing pains in my legs. (below my knees) My doctor wasnt too concerend about them and said to just take a pain killer when i get them. But im done growing he said, and i still get them. I usually get them after a lot of physical activity, but i cant stand getting them any more. (ive been getting them a lot lately) Do you know when they will stop and other info?

Girls usually stop at 18. So your almost done with growing. You can't stop it, so take some pain reliever to help deal with it eaiser.

Your muscles, ligaments, and bones all grow at different rates. The pain you get is in the one that isn't growing as fast as the other one at the time. It will go away as they all even out in their growth.

Could be a very seriouse tropical disease, If your legs keep on hurting after anothe week, you should have your docter cut open your leg and check for small snakes.

Bananas.....eat bananas when you do any physical activity! My 15 year old daughter has the same problem, and has since she was 2.......hope this helps!!!
